Returns and Exchanges

Because each jewelry piece we create is custom-made to your unique specifications, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges.

Warranty

At Evelyn + Co., every piece is thoughtfully made to be treasured for years to come. We proudly stand behind the quality of everything we create.

We provide a 6-Month Limited Warranty on all our pieces for manufacturing-related issues, starting from the day you receive your order.

Beyond the warranty period, routine maintenance becomes an important part of caring for any fine jewelry piece. As a general guideline, we recommend having your jewelry professionally inspected and cleaned at least once a year to help keep stones secure and your piece looking its best for years to come. Because of this, we recommend establishing a relationship with a trusted local jeweler near you who can provide annual inspections, cleanings, prong checks, and any maintenance your jewelry may need over time.

One of the advantages of working with Evelyn + Co. is our fair pricing, allowing more of your investment to go toward the quality of the piece itself rather than traditional retail markups. This approach means the value you receive extends beyond the initial purchase, with those savings helping offset the routine maintenance all fine jewelry naturally requires over its lifetime.

What’s Covered:

Beginning on the day your order is delivered, your 6-month limited warranty covers manufacturing-related issues, such as:

  • Loose or bent prongs resulting from our workmanship
  • Missing accent stones due to a manufacturing issue
  • Other defects related to the manufacturing of your piece

What’s Not Covered:

  • Resizing of the piece
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Discoloration of the piece due to chemicals, cosmetics, pools, hot tubs, bathing, etc.
  • Damage caused by impact, accidents, or improper care (ie scratches, dents, bent settings, missing stones, etc.)
  • Theft or loss of the center stone or the piece itself
  • Correction of modifications performed by another jeweler

Fine jewelry is designed to last a lifetime, but it is also delicate and benefits from routine care. Because gold and other precious metals are naturally malleable, we recommend removing your jewelry before sleeping, exercising, swimming, showering, or performing activities that could expose it to unnecessary impact or chemicals.

Insurance

To help protect your investment, we highly recommend insuring your jewelry once received. While we do not offer in-house insurance policies, we recommend Jewelers Mutual as a third party. Learn more on their website here.

Appraisals

Upon request, your jewelry piece can be professionally appraised by a third-party prior to shipment for insurance purposes.
